Fake Bake....this stuff ACTUALLY works!

We are heading to the beach people!  My family and a few dear friends are venturing to the beach for the holiday weekend.  It will be the first time our two year old has ever been to the beach and we are all oh so very excited!  I'm even MORE excited now that I am taking this adventure with some COLOR!

Yesterday, I tried the Fake Bake Instant Self Tanning Spray since we leave for the beach tomorrow.  The application was definitely mess free, which was a nice surprise.  You simply spray on long streaks and then use your hands (with the gloves provided) to rub in the product.  The instructions SPECIFICALLY warn you about doing thick applications and advise to do light applications ontop of each other...after it has dried completely.  The great news is that the spray pretty much dries instantly.  If you just move around from one spot to another, by the time you come back around, you're ready for the next application.  I ended up doing three total.  I've used several at home tanning sprays and lotions and must say, this is the best so far.  I don't have any orange tint at ALL and although I didn't use their recommended products, which probably would have produced even better results, I did take their advice and applied lotion on my knees, elbows, and feet.  This definitely worked!  I don't have any streaks or discolorations on these areas which I usually always do!

I did have difficulties with the spray toward the end.  I admit I am not the strongest of ladies, but after hauling around my two year old everywhere, I have definitely developed some muscle!  I had a horrible time getting the spray to come out.  I'm uncertain if I shook the product too much or what, but was literally just using my entire hand and spraying the product into the palm of my hand and applying it.  This was the only issue I had with the product and there's still a TON left so I plan on trying it again without shaking the product to see if this eliminates the issue.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this Fake Bake Instant Self Tanning Spray!  I should get at least three applications from the bottle and at only $27.85, it's a remarkable deal.  I've paid $60 for an individual to spray tan and have to say, this is almost as good!  I totally think that after figuring out the application process the outcome will be even better and for a fraction of the cost!

Take a look at the before, immediately after, and a few hours after application to see for yourself!  These aren't even the best pictures since I used my cell phone!!

Gone in 60 Seconds cont...

As promised, I did try Gone in 60 Seconds again this morning.  I applied more product on the wrinkles around my mouth and made more of an effort to massage the product into my skin.  Then, as directed, I applied a hairdryer for approximately 45 seconds.  The result?  The wrinkles around my mouth did diminish much more with the additional product.  The problem I had this time was, however, that it was too much product for my forehead and the product actually flaked a bit after applying my tinted sunscreen.

I've decided it's all in the application of Gone in 60 Seconds.  You just may have to "play with it" a few times to find the exact amount of product to work for your specific concerns.  There is still plenty of the product remaining in my tube....even after a VERY generous application this morning.  So, at $'s still a STEAL and I would definitely recommend this product.

Stay tuned.....I will be trying a Fake Bake product this week in hopes of achieving some sort of color on my pale self before the beach this weekend!  Don't forget to follow us on Twitter and Facebook!

Fine lines? GONE in 60 Seconds!

We had a huge demand for this product so, after seeing our shipping department sending so many out...I decided it was something I needed to try.  The application of this Gone in 60 Seconds is very unique.  You start squeezing the tube to begin the product to flow and then apply liberally to the desired wrinkles/areas.  Then you smooth in the product and apply a blow dryer for 45 seconds.  A little strange, huh? but you can actually feel your skin begin to tighten.  It worked VERY well on my forehead wrinkles and I saw a small difference in the wrinkles around my mouth.  I was initially concerned as well that it would show through after I put my tinted sunscreen on, but much to my surprise it blended easily and there were no issues.

I am going to use the product again and try to apply more product around my mouth to see if it improves the end result.  The forehead wrinkles, however, did almost completely disappear for me.  All and all, I would recommend Gone in 60 Seconds especially for the low price of $19.95!

Next week I am going to try a Fake Bake product since we are venturing to the beach for the holiday weekend and I am oh so very pale!  Don't forget to also follow us on Facebook and Twitter!  If you would like a chance to win FREE beauty products, then simply like or NEW Facebook page to automatically enter into winning an AWESOME beauty product package with over $150 in products.  FOUR packages will be given away.  Package includes an ENTIRE hair care line, anti-aging products, sunscreens and MUCH more!

The best waterproof mascara....EVER!

With so many holiday obligations and parties...many of us our constantly on the search for the perfect waterproof mascara.  Ladies...your search is over!  Our blinc representative recently came into the office with a bag of samples.  We were introduced and she asked if I had used blinc and what I thought of the product.  Fortunately, before I answered she also explained how many people fail to use the product properly and are then, "turned off".  I had used the Kiss Me Mascara years previously and didn't have the best results.  So, after her explaining the proper use of the product I took a sample and used it again this weekend.

Our weekend plans consisted of rain, rain, and more rain...and of course throw in a ton of errands right before the holidays too!  I woke up and decided with all of the rain, this was a perfect opportunity to try the mascara.  I have to be honest, I still had some difficulty with the application.  It is just completely different from the mascaras that I tend to use.  I did get some on my eyelid and under my eye, but the good thing is it removes very easily and doesn't leave any black smear marks due to its unique formula. Thank goodness because since I was running late, there was no time left to fix it!  My day continued with rain, tantrums, shopping, more rain...and the results?  Not one smear and it lasted for days!

If you haven't used blinc before, then I will tell you the trick to applying it properly is to work on only one eye at a time.  DO NOT LET IT DRY!  Keep applying until you get your lashes the way you prefer...then just leave it and move on to the next eye.  I still haven't quite mastered it, but by using this new application method, I have now found my perfect lake, pool, water, outdoor mascara!  blinc Kiss Me Mascara will come off in tubes which can fool you to think it is your lashes if you are not prepared.  The first time I used the mascara no one had told me and I kind of freaked for a moment thinking I had lost all my eyelashes.  Rest assured, they were all still there!

blinc FLIES off our shelves!  My mother-in-law ONLY uses blinc and has for years.  Once you start, most never return to typical mascara.  Wanna try it?  Then make sure you are following us on Facebook.  I have 8 samples to giveaway to a few lucky gals!

It's our final week of our 12 Brands of Christmas!  Don't worry though....we are going to continue giving away fabulous freebies year around!  This week we will be giving away 2 blinc GRAND prizes that include: blinc Long Lash Eyelash Enhancer and a blinc Heated Lash Curler valued at $50!

Until next time....stay tuned and stay beautiful!
