Your Skin Between the Sheets

One thing many people don't realize is that a lot of what happens to your skin, happens at night. For example, your skin turns over 7 times faster at night than it does during the day.

Also, keeping clean sheets is very important for keeping oil, bacteria and other skin hazards off of your face. Many people wash their sheets and pillow cases when they think they need to because they appear to. Many forms of dirt, oil and bacteria can't always be seen.

We recommend washing your sheets and pillowcases weekly in order to keep your skin free from these overnight irritants.

To start with be sure you are removing all impurities from your day. I think one of the best products ever for this is the Clarisonic Plus Skincare System. This product has proven to clean deep down in pores and removing 90% more dirt and oil than cleansing with your hands or a cloth alone.

Other things you can use are great night time products that help reduce oil, and prevent breakouts such as Bioelements Oil Control Sleepwear

Another great night time product is iS Clinical Active Serum, which does so many great things for your skin, I don't know where to start! This product has great anti-bacterial, exfoliating, lightening and toning properties and is a must have for anyone, except those with sensitive skin.

If you already have acneic skin, or trouble with blemishes, be sure after putting that daily cover up on, that you are fighting them overnight with a great product like Dermalogica MediBac Overnight Clearing Gel.

Just remember, if you want your face to look great during the day, you've got to take great care of it at night!
